This is Hansel Ong's personal website and blog.
I'm a technophile at heart with an insatiable curiosity about everything.
In my professional work as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), I regularly use C#, .Net, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and loves the Model-View-Controller (MVC) software architecture pattern. In 2006, I received a national award for "Advancing the Science of Risk Assessment" for a program that I personally designed and created.
I am currently a Lead/Senior SDET and pursuing a law degree from Seattle University School of Law (with a focus on Intellectual Property). Law school has given me insight on how the law affects the tech industry and knowledge of the economics and power of the world.
This site's purpose is to build a "brand" about me. There are other "Hansel Ong" out there, and I want to distinguish my accomplishments from theirs.
